Professional Experience
Fred Schuster is a seasoned real estate executive, consultant, and expert witness with more than 35 years of experience spanning development, investment, finance, and brokerage across the hospitality and real estate sectors.
Most recently, Fred served for approximately seven years as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Investment Officer of The Robert Green Company (“RGC”), a leading developer, owner, and asset manager of luxury hospitality and mixed-use projects. During his tenure, he played a key leadership role in the development and oversight of several high-profile assets, including Pendry San Diego, Montage Healdsburg, Montage & Pendry La Quinta, and Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole, as well as Four Seasons East Palo Alto.
Prior to RGC, Fred spent over a decade leading FGS Realty Advisors, where he provided expert witness and litigation support, financial consulting and advisory services, and brokerage expertise across a wide range of real estate matters.
Earlier in his career, Fred was instrumental in launching a residential brokerage franchise of Windermere Real Estate, where he served as the designated Broker/Officer. In this role, he oversaw all back-office operations and managed more than 300 agents across eight branch offices, supporting over $1 billion in annual sales volume.
Fred also spent eight years with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, where he was part of the founding team of the company’s Residential Properties division. As Corporate Director of Finance, he helped establish the financial and operational framework for luxury branded residential developments worldwide.
He began his career with Kenneth Leventhal & Company (later merged with Ernst & Young), where he served as a Senior Auditor for a range of prominent real estate clients.
Fred holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and Finance from San Diego State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of California and a licensed Real Estate Broker with the California Department of Real Estate.
